In connection with the governments’ ‘everybody in’ initiative which worked towards moving all rough sleepers into accommodation, Bath and North East Somerset Council allocated funding for the refurbishment of 23 Grosvenor Place in Bath. The Grade 1 Listed Building required external repairs to its roof, masonry and windows whilst all 20no. internal flats were refurbished. An office and associated facilities were created for the staff operations team and full mechanical and electrical overhaul of the property was required.

Working within an occupied building for 12 months over 5 floors, whilst conscious of the needs of some of the most vulnerable in our society provided us with some unique challenges. Our site manager and our team of dedicated tradesman rose to these challenges and built up such a good repour with the staff and residents that some and still in communication long after works completed.

Comments from the head of operations: “Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for Grosvenor, you have gone above and beyond for the team and all our clients. You have shown them all kindness and respect, which for some has meant the world.”
