Scope of work: Refurbishment of listed property designed to become the new town council offices and community centre for the Royal Wootton Basset Town Council.

A signification restoration of a former magistrates’ court into a modern facility combining office space for the local authority to operate out of as well as a community hub with meeting rooms, exhibition spaces and activity rooms to book. The derelict Grade 2 listed building required a full refurbishment of the building fabric and has breathed new life into an important local landmark.

Chief Officer for the council Mark Hopkins commented during the opening event on completion, “It’s been a pleasure to work on this important project for Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council. This retrofit has preserved the architectural heritage of a cherished landmark while creating flexible spaces that will benefit the community. We’re delighted to be here today to celebrate the revitalisation of this building, which will be used and enjoyed for many years to come.”
